MGS Holiday Party

Scope of Work:
SHS was called upon to create, plan and manage the Holiday Party for Microsoft Game Studios.  With a young, creative, forward thinking audience of 800, the party had to be energetic and cutting edge. SHS designed an interactive Matrix theme party that corresponded with the opening of the movie, Matrix Revolution. 

Program Highlights:

• We knew it was important to create a level of anticipation prior to the evening of the event. So, we kicked off the project with a creative, custom invitation that introduced the theme and added a level of excitement which ultimately helped boost attendance.
• The evening began with Morpheus (look-a-like) greeting guests as they arrived. He offered each guest a “Red Pill”, and said, “I can show you the door, but you must walk through it. Do you want to enter the Matrix?” Through a fog of smoke and special lighting, guests proceeded into the Matrix.
• Once inside, guests encountered the world without boundaries:
• Martial Arts Duo performing a choreographed show with knives and bamboo sticks
• Oracle Fortune Teller
• Henna Tattoo Artists creating memorable Matrix images including the White Rabbit
• Ice Carved Martini Bar featuring “Red Pill” and “Blue Pill” martinis.
• Private IMAX Showing of The Matrix Revolution
• Several bountiful buffets complete with Cypher’s Clams and Mussels, Sentinal’s Sage and Garlic Chicken, Agent Smith’s Salmon Skewers, Déjà vu Dip and much more.
• All staff dressed in black suits, white collared shirts, black neckties, and sunglasses reminiscent of the villain Agent Smith.

The Result:
